Presenter, podcaster, and author Angela Scanlon uses her platform to explore the weird, wonderful and sometimes, taboo side of showbusiness.
Angela’s first major documentary Oi Ginger! aired in 2014 on RTE to critical acclaim, leading to a follow-up series, Angela Scanlon: Full Frontal in 2015, in which she tackled taboo subjects such as extreme makeovers, fitness, and nudity. Since working with the BBC, Angela has hosted three series of Your Home Made Perfect, Your Garden Made Perfect and The Noughties for BBC Two, Trumps Unlikely Superfans for BBC Three and hosted coverage of both T In The Park and the BAFTAs.
Off Screen Angela has hosted six series of her podcast Thanks A Million where she interviews Rylan, Alan Carr and Suranne Jones amongst others, about what they are most grateful for. Angela’s published her first book Joyrider in May 2022, exploring how gratitude can help you get the life you really want.
Most recently, Angela returned to her Irish roots to host the second series of her own Saturday night chat show on RTE 1 Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything
